Sagittaria subulata
Hailing from South America, Sagittaria subulata is a undemanding foreground plant, forming compact clusters with its short runners. Planting individual specimens 2-4 cm apart ensures optimal growth. However, be cautious as it may unexpectedly grow up to 50 cm in certain conditions as it matures. Moving it to the background can help control its height. In aquariums, it occasionally sends out long flower stems that reach the surface, where small white flowers bloom just above the waterline.
