Eleocharis pusilla, commonly known as the dwarf spikerush, is native to Australia and New Zealand and lives in wetlands of varying water levels. Significantly shorter than Eleocharis acicularis, this grass usually only grows up to a few centimeters in height. Dwarf spikerush has light green, slightly curved stems and thrives in cooler temperatures - anything higher than 25 °C may be too hot for it. This dainty plant is perfect for "Iwagumi" style aquascaping, giving off a refreshing, summer meadow vibe.
