Anubias barteri var. nana ‘Kleinblättrig'
Anubias barteri var. nana ‘Small-leaved’ is a tiny cultivar of the popular Anubias species, featuring small, deep green leaves and compact growth. Perfect for nano aquariums, shrimp tanks, and detailed aquascaping layouts, it grows slightly smaller than standard Anubias nana, staying low and bushy.
This epiphyte thrives when attached to rocks, driftwood, or decor, and requires low to medium light. CO₂ is not essential but promotes faster, denser growth. Its robust rhizome structure ensures easy attachment, and its tough leaves resist damage from grazing fish and shrimp.
Growing only 2-5 cm tall, it is ideal for foreground planting or creating scale in bonsai-style layouts. Maintenance is minimal - avoid burying the rhizome to prevent rot and remove any older or algae-covered leaves as needed.
Anubias nana ‘Mini’ is recommended for both beginners and advanced aquascapers wanting to add a durable, vibrant accent to their tank design.
