Littorella uniflora

Littorella uniflora stands out in aquariums with its distinctive appearance. Originating from lakeshores in Europe, North America, and South America, it thrives even in low light, with extended exposure contributing to longer leaves.

Planted individually with a few centimeters of spacing, each rosette readily produces runners, forming a unique carpet of thick, fleshy leaves measuring 2-5 cm in length and 0.1-0.3 cm in width over time. Exercise caution during tank maintenance, as the leaves are prone to damage.

Beyond aquariums, Littorella uniflora is well-suited for terrariums and garden ponds.
